Their standing-room-only concerts throughout Ireland are true events featuring high-energy performances. -MUSIC FOR FRIENDS – It’s a special night of dinner tunes by the small ensemble specialists from America’s Hometown Band.  Join them and enjoy them on Thursday the 15th of October, 2015, from 6-8 pm at Vera Mae's Bistro in downtown Muncie, 209 S. The AHB music-makers on hand are: Flute Choir, Clarinet Choir, Saxophone Quartet, Trombone Quartet, and the Jazz Combo to finish the evening.

Irish tunes by musicians from AMERICA’S HOMETOWN BAND serve up the entertainment for the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Vera Mae’s Bistro, 209 S. Walnut St., in downtown Muncie, on Thursday evening, March 17, 2016.  

From 5:30 to 8 pm -- the AHB Clarinet Choir, the AHB Flute Choir, and Bill Morton’s Irish Band set the mood as they take turns playing traditional melodies from the Emerald Isle. Xylophonist David Robbins performs Irish Washerwoman. And from 8 pm on, jazz keyboardist Phil Cooley, a co-director of the AHB, closes out the evening’s musical fare.

FREE public concert being played by two woodwind choirs from America's Hometown Band - the Central Indiana Flute Choir, and the Clarinet Connection Choir, each with a separate program of musical pieces.  

Come enjoy the lovely, lively sounds of these groups, and check out the widely varied sizes of instruments that suppy the choir voice high to low. A reception follows the concert on-site.

Parking

Parking is available in the McKinley Parking Garage (entrance on Ashland Avenue) located immediately south of Sursa Hall. On weekdays, metered parking ($1/hr) is available on the first floor of the garage until 7 p.m. at which time parking is free. This garage is free on weekends.
