This April for our Liberation Flicks we’ll be hosting a series of documentaries that cover the rich and hidden history of student activism. Join us every Friday to learn from our past and how to change the future! 

Come join us for a new reading every Sunday at our weekly Marxist reading group! Beginners welcome and readings will be provided. 

Join us for Black Study Group this Mon (4/6) and Tues (4/7) at 6p at the Muncie Liberation Studio for a group read of selected readings from Hood Communist, Shaka Shakur’s “Manifestations of Thought: When the Dragon Comes”, and Black Agenda Report. Come learn about and discuss Dual Power, Community Control, and how the Republic of New Afrika challenges and exists as an alternative to the US colonial state. This session was inspired by washington d.c.’s Pan-African Community Action’s Community Control proposal for their city where they demand more democratic and community-based organizing around public safety, youth education, and other key governing institutions which shape the lives and realities  working class, Black communities in d.c. Beginners are welcome and readings are provided. Hope to see you there!

Join us this Thursday to read a short anthropological record of LGBTQ+ oppression from a Marxist perspective and a brief overview of the diverse history of Queer militant and worker struggles in the U.S. from past to present. Readings will be provided at this free event, so just bring yourself and a friend!

this Friday at 2pm join us to speak out against ball state and its illegal and immoral actions. It is clear through the continued employment of Brian Gallagher, investments in genocide profiteers, refusal to protect community members from ICE, and unconstitutional limits on free speech that Ball State does not care about it students.

Join us this Friday for a free film screening at the Muncie Liberation Studio. We will be watching ‘a time to stir’ a documentary which covers the 1968 student revolt at Columbia over the university’s support for  the imperialist plunder of Vietnam and its policies of racial segregation. This history is vital for us to reflect and mediate on to learn the lessons and tactics necessary to advance the ongoing struggle against capitalism.

⁨⁨THURSDAY JUNE 18th 5-7pm local artist and printmaker @zoe.rosie.prints will be hosting an introductory FREE linocut workshop where we will be carving into erasers while listening in on an introductory presentation on their praxis as an artist and local community organizer. This is a celebratory and introductory event to introduce linocut workshops through the Muncie Liberation Studio. Join us for an evening of FREE crafting, community and lively discussion!⁩
