Per usual, we will include a few Fierceified covers for you!

Ball State’s choral program nurtures the next generation of conductors through graduate programs in choral music. This performance features the work of those emerging conductors as they hone their skills with the university’s premier vocal ensemble.
The Chamber Choir is the university’s most prestigious concert choir, typically comprised of 32 singers: mostly upper-level music majors and graduate students.

About
Entering its 52nd year, the Larry McWilliams Dimensions in Jazz Festival attracts over 35 high school jazz bands annually. The bands participate in jazz band and combo competitions as well as clinics. The day ends with an evening concert featuring the two winning bands from the day’s competition and the Ball State Jazz Lab Ensemble with special guest artists. Ball State Jazz faculty and invited guests present clinics and judge the competitions.
Guest Artist: Alexis Cole
Called "one of the great voices of today," by Jonathan Schwartz, and praised for her “Impeccable control and style” by Michael Feinstein, Alexis Cole has been compared to classic jazz singers such as Sarah Vaughan and Anita O'Day. A Top Winner of the Jazzmobile Vocal Competition judged by jazz icons TS Monk, Catherine Russell, Grady Tate and Dr. Billy Taylor, 3rd prize winner in the Montreux Jazz Vocal Competition, and a finalist in the Sarah Vaughan Competition, Alexis has a dozen albums to her credit on Motéma, Chesky, Venus Records and Zoho. She has recorded with such artists as Fred Hersch, Bucky Pizzarelli, and Don Braden. She’s been a soloist with the Boston Pops, and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and has headlined at clubs around the US and Asia.
As an educator, Alexis was the head of vocal jazz at the conservatory at SUNY Purchase and counts Grammy Winning Samara Joy and rising star Anaïs Reno as her students. She is the founder and director of JazzVoice.com, an online educational community featuring singing classes, professional development sessions and private lessons from a roster of renowned jazz vocalists and educators. And she is artistic director of the Virginia Beach Vocal Jazz Summit. Her most recent release “Jazz Republic: Taiwan, The United States and the Freedom of Swing” features original arrangements for big band and orchestra, performed by Alexis with the Taipei Jazz Orchestra. Alexis' latest endeavor is MusicAuditions.com, a website to connect musicians to employers.

Cost: $19.50 advance, $24.50 at door, Youth $10 One of the most multi-faceted minds in roots music, Alison Brown is a GRAMMY-winning musician, GRAMMY-nominated producer, former investment banker (with an AB from Harvard and an MBA from UCLA), and co-founder of The Compass Records Group which is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2023.
Although Alison began her musical career as a teenager in the Southern California bluegrass scene, she has built a reputation as one of today’s most forward thinking and innovative banjo players. She is known for taking the instrument far beyond its Appalachian roots by blending bluegrass and jazz influences into a sonic tapestry that has earned praise and recognition from a variety of national tastemakers including The Wall Street Journal, CBS Sunday Morning, NPR, and USA Today.

Cardinal Chorus is a tenor/bass ensemble open to students of all disciplines who enjoy sharing camaraderie through music and excellence in live performance. The University Choral Union (UCU) is the perfect choir for the casual singer or busy non-music major. UCU is a large and lively mixed choir that meets once each week.

Cost: $19.50 advance, $24.50 at door, Youth $10 Dueling pianos shows make for a unique, interactive experience that is far from a typical night out. Two grand pianos, two outgoing piano players, and an active, fun audience make the perfect party atmosphere for any event.
A dueling piano consists of two grand pianos, two charismatic, hilarious entertainers behind the keys, and an audience that will laugh and dance into the night. Throughout the night the piano players play audience requested songs. The pianists sing and battle back and forth with comedic commentary and hilarious banter.
Audience participation is a huge factor in the success of a dueling piano acts. Requests, sing-a-longs, and dancing make dueling piano acts fun and special for all event guests.
