Participants will engage in meaningful dialogue about how history informs collaboration, advocacy, and service. Third Thursdays come alive at MadJax with the Muncie Makers Market! Come see The Night Market - a monthly indoor evening of local shopping, food and drinks, community connection, and creative exploration!

Every Third Thursday, MadJax Maker Force and the Muncie Makers Market partner to transform the building into an indoor Night Market experience. To shape the experience each month, The Night Market is layered with a rotating hands-on creative activity, a new exhibition opening in the Toolsong Gallery, and a live music performance to enhance your evening of shopping with our local Artisans. No two nights look exactly the same, and each one offers an easy, welcoming way to explore, make, and connect.

While you’re here to Sip & Shop, have an adventure ​w​ith MadJax tours and jump into Drop-In Creative Corner, a relaxed Thursday evening hang where makers of all skill levels gather to craft, tinker, and create together. Bring a project you’re already working on, try something new with provided supplies, or simply enjoy making alongside others (no class commitment required).

Guests are invited to wander the fascinating former factory that houses MadJax, meet local Makers, Sip & Shop, catch live music, and take in new artwork. MadJax will be open for tours, giving visitors a chance to explore the maker spaces, studios, and creative businesses housed throughout the building. FREE Admission and FREE Parking! Get ready for a day filled with craft beer, winery, distillery, non-alcoholic beverage offerings, food, music, artisans, and makers and an atmosphere that's nothing short of magical! It’s a vibrant gathering of craft enthusiasts and brewers—both local and beyond–showcasing their finest creations and the perfect blend of flavors to tantalize your taste buds. Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur or just looking for a good time, this event promises something for everyone.
 

Magic City Sip & Savor will take place on Saturday, April 4, from 2–5 p.m., bringing together craft beverages, culinary creativity, live music, and local makers for an afternoon-long celebration of DWNTWN Muncie’s vibrant culture.

The event is 21+.

Hosted at MadJax, Sip & Savor will feature a wide selection of craft beer, wine, distilled spirits, non-alcoholic beverages, and curated food offerings, alongside live performances, artist demonstrations, and interactive experiences throughout the venue.

Attendees will enjoy savory treats created by students from Ball State University’s Hospitality Innovation and Leadership program and Ivy Tech Community College’s School of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management, showcasing innovative flavors and culinary talent from the region’s next generation of hospitality professionals. 

Additional highlights include:

Tribune Showprint Posters, offering attendees the opportunity to print their own Magic City Sip & Savor coasters

Songwriter Sessions, hosted by Lyn and Sally Fierce, featuring a variety of local musicians

Muncie Makers Market, presenting fresh homemade foods and handcrafted art for purchase

Guests will also be encouraged to explore the unique experiences within MadJax, including Mad Axe, The Aerial Annex, John Tom’s BBQ, and The Guardian Brewing Co., highlighting the creative energy housed within the venue.

Magic City Sip & Savor builds on the spirit of an event longtime attendees may remember as Magic City Brewfest, expanding its focus to include a broader range of beverages, food, music, and maker experiences while continuing to celebrate DWNTWN Muncie’s craft and creative community.

A limited number of VIP tickets are available for 75 guests and include access to a pre-event reception at 7 Rock Brew, located two blocks north of MadJax. VIP ticketholders will enjoy complimentary food, exclusive brew samples, a brewery tour from 12:30–1:30 p.m., and early admission to Magic City Sip & Savor.

Transportation for VIP ticketholders between 7 Rock Brew and MadJax will be provided by Alford Rods & Kustoms, eliminating the need for additional parking.
