Enjoy a concert with Ball State Jazz! The ensembles are under the direction of Mark Buselli. Saxophonist, Flutist, and Educator Sharel Cassitt will appear as a guest artist. Cassitt is prominent on the New York and Chicago jazz scenes. Voted the 2023 "Rising Star Alto Saxophone", she is in the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame and is a recipient of the ASCAP Young Jazz Composers Award.

The Ball State Campus Band is a traditional concert band that provides an opportunity for music and non-music majors to participate on a limited rehearsal and performance schedule. The Campus Band is under the direction of Jeremy Harmon, director of athletic bands.

This night is dedicated to the memory of the great Fort Wayne tenor player Morgy Craig. The Craig family has set up a scholarship fund in Morgy's name for a deserving BSU jazz student. The music will feature classic arrangements from the great big bands.

The Tom Shah concert is dedicated to the memory of BSU grad student Tom Shah. Tom was a gifted composer, trumpet player that was recruited by the CIA because of his ability to speak many different languages. Tom was one of the first people killed in the war on terror in the 1998 U.S. Embassy bombing in Nairobi, Kenya. This concert will feature original music by students and faculty.
