Third Thursdays is a monthly experimental and electronic music performance held at the Common Market. The show is hosted by local musician crawlinggiants and features a different lineup each month. We present a unique listening experience in a supportive environment for musicians who enjoy expressing themselves in unusual and creative ways. STOMP – CELEBRATING 30 YEARS IN NORTH AMERICA.

This unique combination of percussion, movement and visual comedy was created in Brighton, UK, in the summer of 1991. It was the result of a ten-year collaboration between its creators, Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas.

STOMP does not have a storyline like a traditional musical or play. There is no dialogue or plot. Instead, the eight-member troupe uses everything but conventional percussion instruments – matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters and hubcaps, just to name a few – to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms.
