Cost: $20-25 Since 1972, Dance Kaleidoscope has been Indiana’s premiere professional contemporary dance company. Dance Kaleidoscope is committed to bringing the finest quality dance performances to diverse audiences, keeping a focus on emphasizing arts education. Under the direction of David Hochoy since 1991, Dance Kaleidoscope has seen substantial artistic growth. The Company’s professional ensemble consists of 10 gifted dancers who are trained in the rigorous modern dance technique of Martha Graham, as well as classical ballet.

Clara’s beloved toy transforms into a valiant prince, whisking her from a war-torn living room to realms filled with snow, sweets, and surreal wonders. Each step of her journey blurs the line between fantasy and reality, revealing the strange beauty hidden beneath tradition. With Tchaikovsky’s unforgettable score guiding the way, this reimagined Nutcracker becomes a wild, whimsical ride through the heart of childhood dreams.
The Ball State Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Gregory Robbins, will play the score live.
