The four-part harmonies and upbeat songs of The Oak Ridge Boys have spawned dozens of #1 country hits and the pop smash, "Elvira," earning them GRAMMY, Dove, CMA, and ACM awards and garnering a host of other industry and fan accolades. The Oaks will bring four decades of charted singles, 50 years of tradition, and Christmas favorites to the stage show widely acknowledged as among the most exciting.

Local favorite Remedy Band will be at the Muncie Senior Center, 2517 W. 8th St, on January 17 from 7 to 10 pm. Sponsored by Destination: Muncie, this dance is open to anyone 18+. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance in person, over the phone, or at the door.

One of the most multi-faceted minds in roots music, Alison Brown is a GRAMMY-winning musician, GRAMMY-nominated producer, former investment banker (with an AB from Harvard and an MBA from UCLA), and co-founder of The Compass Records Group which is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2023.

Although Alison began her musical career as a teenager in the Southern California bluegrass scene, she has built a reputation as one of today’s most forward thinking and innovative banjo players.
