DESCRIPTION:The Wind Ensemble is under the direction of&nbsp\;LaToya Webb. 
 Wind Symphony are under the direction of&nbsp\;Jeremy Harmon\, director of
  athletic bands.\n\nThe Wind Ensemble will feature music by Bakhari S. Nok
 uri\, Yukiko Nishimura\, Eric Whitacre\, Kevin Day\, and Benjamin Horne\, 
 as well as Kevin Day's Harp Concertino.\n\nKevin Day's Harp Concertino was
  commissioned by a consortium led by the United States Coast Guard Band\, 
 and the Ball State Wind Ensemble is proud to be a consortium member. The w
 ork honors principal harpist MUC Megan Sesma's retirement. It is a celebra
 tory\, reflective work\, and we are honored to feature our own harp profes
 sor\, Joanne "Annie" King\, as soloist.&nbsp\;\n\nThe Wind Ensemble will c
 lose the program with Benjamin Horne's Spiritual Symphony — winner of th
 e National Band Association's William D. Revelli Memorial Composition Cont
 est. This work draws on four African American spirituals: "Follow the Drin
 king Gourd\," "Motherless Child\," "Deep River\," and "What a Morning."\n\
 nTickets available through the College of Fine Arts Box Office located at 
 Sursa Hall.
