IPR will present the adaptation of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” on Dec. 18 in Sursa Performance Hall, on the campus of Ball State.
“A Christmas Carol” tells the story of the penny-pinching, bah-humbug Scrooge who is visited by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future.
IPR Radio Dramas feature community actors, authentic sound effects (produced by a foley artist on stage) and a live orchestra.
Directed by Dr. Jennifer Blackmer, director of immersive learning and associate professor of theatre at Ball State.

Cost: $10 adults/$5 children & students IPR proudly presents their annual holiday radio drama that hearkens back to days of yore with authentic sound effects and a live orchestra. An original work by Michael Kleeberg, A FEW HOUSES DOWN tells the Christmas story of two scattered families who are brought together by Grandpa, who imagines himself to be all of the characters in a classic holiday novel. Directed by Matthew Reeder, assistant professor of directing and Shakespeare at Ball State University. Be My Neighbor Day Muncie is 5 YEARS OLD! Come and celebrate with us 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Canan Commons in downtown Muncie!
Meet DANIEL TIGER at this free family event; dance along to music by Ruditoonz, and visit our great neighbors from arts organizations, community centers, and other awesome non-profit groups.
Based on the animated PBS KIDS show DANIEL TIGER'S NEIGHBORHOOD, and with a nod to MISTER ROGERS' NEIGHBORHOOD, this event focuses on the importance of being neighborly.
