Buffalo Rose 7:30pm @ Pruis Hall, Ball State University 1000 N McKinley Ave, Muncie, IN 47306
Cost: $19.50 advance, $24.50 at door, Youth $10 Buffalo Rose is a charismatic six-piece modern folk/Americana band from Pittsburgh, PA. They take the singer-songwriter tradition to a new level by crafting original songs which are emotive, meticulously arranged, and inspired by a world of idiosyncratic influences that never let a dull or predictable moment creep in.
The band's style has been compared to The Lumineers and First Aid Kit, and the band has shared stages with acts such as The Infamous Stringdusters, Pokey LaFarge, and Tyler Childers. Group members have also cited influences including Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, the Punch Brothers, and Joni Mitchell.World-class artists and musicians brought together in this Coffee and Cabernet Series.
