Because of the weather, three downtown galleries have postponed their First Thursday exhibitions until February 13th.

Some Otherness and a Dog

Paul Grant will be the featured artist for the month of February at the Artist Within. His exhibit, "Some Otherness and a Dog”, will feature his collage work . This long time Muncie resident began making collages a decade ago as a way to sketch images that were beyond his ability to draw.  Paul explains that over the years, his use of collage has developed into a language all its own.  He feels that it allows him a full range of creative freedom, whether he is working with images or text.

February 13th, from 5-8pm will be the “meet the artist opening reception”. There will be light refreshments and live music featuring Gregg Pyle. The opening is free and open to the public.

Attraction & Doubt

Gallery 308 announces its February show, “Attraction and Doubt”, an invitational, themed exhibition organized by Associate Professor Scott Anderson. The opening reception for the new exhibit will be held February 6th at Gallery 308 from 5-8pm.   The public is welcome. The exhibit features Anderson, plus Ball State Alumni from the Ball State School of Art and other professional artists/educators that have been featured at Ball State in the past as visiting artists.

Twenty-seven artists sent work from all over the country, including Indiana, Georgia, New York, Missouri, Washington, Oregon, Texas, California, Washington D.C., Minnesota, and Germany. Anderson said, “All the participants were invited to submit up to four works that they felt addressed the theme, 'Attraction and Doubt'”. 

Anderson added, “All the former students are still active in their art careers, some are currently pursuing graduate degrees, others have completed their graduate studies, and some are employed as educators, gallery directors, designers and as artists.  Also featured are other professional artists and educators that have had an impact on Professor Anderson's career as either colleagues or as instructors.”   

Gallery visitors will see a wide variety of mediums including drawing, collage, printmaking, watercolor, acrylic, photography, wood sculpture, found object, and sculptures made from human hair.  Participating artists include: Jared Applegate, Molly Bauman, Katie Burk, Lisa Choinacky, David Cuatlacuatl, Duncan Ford, Jessica Ford, Chet Geiselman, Marc Giouard, Art Hazelwood, Chris Hocking, Terra Keck, Brie Thompson, Iain Machell, Andy Mauery, Mike May, Andrew J. McCauley, Joshua McGarvey, Bill McQuail, Nicole Pancini, Max Papas, Lee Pechocki, Kathleen Ryan, Austin Sayre, Geoff Smith, Ross Wagner, Seneca Weintraut, and Scott Anderson.

Anderson is an Associate Professor teaching undergraduate and graduate levels of painting, and drawing at Ball State University. He has been exhibiting his paintings professionally for the past thirty years in galleries, museums, national and regional juried offerings. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Texas Tech University and completed his Masters in Fine Arts from West Virginia University with an emphasis in painting.   In 2010 Anderson was awarded the 2010-2011 College of Fine Arts Dean’s Creative Arts Award. . He served as the Director for Ball State’s London Center for fall 2013. Anderson earned the gallery exhibit when he captured Best of Show from Gallery’s 308’s PaperChaser 2013 juried exhibition.

The gallery is open Fridays from 3-7pm and Saturdays from 12:30 – 5:00pm.  Admission is free. The show continues through February 28.

Gallery 308, located at 308 East Main in downtown Muncie,  is a 501(c)(3) community art gallery which exists to provide exhibition space for artists, encourage innovative work and serve the community as a cultural and educational resource. Annual BSU Print Show, “New Edition”

Prints are hot, and the wintertime Annual Print Exhibit at Gordy Fine Art & Framing will feature woodcut prints and etchings by two Ball State University printmaking professors. David and Sarojini Johnson are known both for their own signature styles and for the number of students following their example as professionals in the field. With more than fifty years of combined teaching, the duo continues to hone their artistic skills. “The woodcuts, etchings and artist’s books in this show represent some of their best work,” notes Brian Gordy, gallery owner.

David’s woodcuts often depict humans or animals – cows, pigs, crows – in large color block

scenes, fair barns, streetscapes or fast food establishments.  Sarojini’s pieces are known for an exotic flavor, where plants and insects, frogs and lilies are poised in colorful, dark, dreamlike garden scenes, decorative ribbons running around edges. In “Frog and Lily,” a blue-green spotted frog competes with orange and red flowers for center stage. David’s “Topknots and Polka Dots” depicts a seated woman who appears to be relaxing in a corner of the printmaking room at Ball State University – home office for the Johnson duo.

The two artists engage different methods to arrive at their compositions. Sarojini employs intaglio, mastering the process in tight, rich details that are etched out of a metal plate. The plate is then inked and run through a press to create a single print at a time. David’s relief prints, cut by hand, often include color blocks of street scenes or observed moments of contemporary life. His artistic method of choice is relief printing, where wood or linoleum is carved away, leaving desired areas that then receive ink and are printed onto special papers. Each color requires either a different carved block or the same block, cut out a bit more after each color application.

In addition to the framed prints for this annual exhibit, hand-printed books will also be shown. Folding outward, the print books resemble a sculptural work of art that might be displayed open, on table top or mantle.

The opening reception for “New Edition” will be held Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 5 to 8 PM at the downtown gallery. Light refreshments will be served and the artists will be introduced at 6:15 PM for a short talk, and to answer questions about the work. The exhibit

will continue through February 28, 2014, and may also be viewed during normal business hours: Monday-Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday, 9 to 3, or by appointment. Randy Salway: Early Portraits

Randy Salway was born in Fort Wayne and studied printmaking at Ball State University. He has exhibited work locally, regionally, and nationally in solo, group, and juried exhibitions. He has spent the past fourteen years installing the works of other artists as an exhibition preparator at the Indianapolis Museum of Art and the David Owsley Museum of Art. The early portraits in this exhibition are the first of his work to be on view in Muncie in nearly a decade and are meant to reintroduce the artist to the community. His recent work is scheduled to be on view later this year.

K-12 Juried Student Art Show

The talents and imagination of more than 100 young artists will be showcased in a countywide exhibit when Gallery 308 opens its 10th annual K-12 Juried Student Art Show next week. The public is invited to stop by and see what our young local artists are doing. There’s a free reception for the show’s opening on March 6, the First Thursday of the month.

The nonprofit community art gallery provides a juried show each year for Delaware County students in grades K through 12. Because it’s a juried show, awards will be presented. The presentation will be at Muncie Civic Theatre, 216 East Main Street at 6:30p.m. The exhibit and refreshments will be offered at the Gallery, located at 308 East Main Street, from 5 to 8 p.m. The artists’ families and friends are welcome.

Students from 16 city and county schools are involved in the show. More than 130 entries were accepted into the juried process. The students’ artwork will be displayed at the Gallery through the end of March.  Dave Franklin, Gallery 308 board president and member of the committee that organized this year’s show, said, “Each year I am amazed at the quality of the work; the sophistication of the artist statement and the craftsmanship is really high. We are especially pleased at the number of entries from the middle and high school student artists.”

In addition to announcing the prize winners at the opening, the Gallery will announce the name of the school that has won the 2013 Y.B. Williams Art Supply Award. The $500 cash award is given to the school whose students earned the most points for their arts involvement. Franklin explained that students earn points for their school by attending art gallery openings, visiting museums and other art venues. “The school with the most points wins the $500 award which is to be used by the school to purchase art supplies,” he said. The name of the winning school will be announced at the opening reception. Delta Middle School was last year’s winner.

Judges for the juried show were Casey Parmerlee, (primary school artists) and Tom Riesing (secondary school artists).

Artwork for this show was framed at framing workshops offered by the Gallery in February.

The exhibit is made possible by major funding from Trim Masters Charitable Foundation. Other sponsors include: Indiana Public Radio; Department of Art, Ball State University; Muncie Civic Theatre (providing space for the awards presentation) and Art Mart.

The gallery's hours are Fridays from 3-7pm and Saturdays from 12:30 – 5:00pm.  Admission is free. The show continues through March 28.

Paul Laseau Retrospective

Paul Laseau began painting in watercolor media in 1992 while on a trip to the Greek islands. He was inspired by the delicate, but vibrant colors of the sunbaked white villages that cling to the crests of the island mountains.  He brought to this work observation skills developed through 35 years of experience in freehand sketching and photography of architectural subjects throughout Europe and North America. Architectural images have continued to be the dominant focus of his paintings, based on subsequent trips to the coasts of Greece, Italy, England, New England, and the Maritime Provinces of Canada.

"Like many artists, I was drawn to watercolor because the medium supports a fluid, spontaneous approach to painting." He continues, "While my approach to painting involves some forethought or planning, there is a pleasurable flow to the work that would be ruined by extended 'massaging' of a painting.

"For me, the value of painting lies more in the act of painting than in the end result. Typically, I am completely absorbed in the subject of a painting. I continue to be fascinated by the historical response of humans to the forces of nature – land, water, sun – as they define appropriate human habitat. Coastal towns and harbors provide particularly vibrant subjects."

Paul Laseau, AIA, is a Ball State University professor emeritus of architecture with over twenty five years’ experience teaching freehand sketching and design drawing. He is the author of: Graphic Thinking for Architects and Designers; Graphic problem Solving for Architects; Inkline Drawing; Architectural Drawing: Options for Design; The Handbook of Architectural Representation; Freehand Sketching – An Introduction; Watercolor Sketching, and Visual Notes (with Norman Crowe).

Laseau’s paintings and drawings have been exhibited at the University of Wisconsin, University of Arizona in Tucson, Clemson in South Carolina, and Ball State University. He has given workshops, presentations and exhibits on sketching, design drawing and watercolor painting for several universities in the US and Europe.

"Paintings in this exhibit have been selected to represent the variety of my work in watercolor over a two-decade span. Although most of the work consists of landscapes or cityscapes, the locales of the subjects are varied due to many opportunities traveling and painting in Europe and North America.

"My style of painting may be termed realistic, and has been heavily influenced by Mel Stabin, artist and teacher. His simultaneous approach to painting provided a fitting transition from my thirty-year background in freehand sketching. My preference is to attack a subject head-on and rapidly, hoping for an inspired response."

The artist will give a short talk about his work, and answer questions, beginning at 6:15 on opening night, Thursday, March 6, 2014.  His exhibition will hang through Saturday, March 1st, and may be viewed at Gordy’s during normal business hours: Monday – Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturdays, 9 to 3, or by appointment. From the Stage to the Wall

Rose Court will be presenting "From the Stage to the Wall", featuring three local artists who are also well-known local actors.  For each, their love of the theater or classic films has influenced their artwork in some way:

Tom Cherry, who is well known for his acting roles in local community theatre for the last ten years, is also a cartoonist. When he's not acting, he's 'tooning.  He also writes scripts for "Tom Cherry's Old Time Radio Show", a monthly radio show in Farmland, Indiana and co-created the musical "Swann Song" with Jerry & Judy Cole. Tom will be featuring his cartoon artwork in pen and ink.

Wendy Carpenter has also performed in stage productions in various venues around East Central Indiana.  Wendy has had a life-long interest in painting in part due to her artistic muse -  Bob Ross.  She has brought her love of the stage to her subjects and will be featuring her works in acrylics.

Sean Orlosky, having just wrapped up his role in Spamalot, has performed in many stage productions. In his spare time, he is also a freelance painter & classic film fan.  He combines those two loves into a collection of portraits featuring stars from the golden age of Hollywood.

Entertainment will be provided by Gary Andry of String Theory Music Lessons.

It’s Therapy

April at the Artist Within will feature the work of two East Central Indiana artists.

The collaborative exhibit by these two ladies will showcase the varied interests and mediums of their work. The title for the Two Artist Show is “It’s Therapy” and expresses the feelings these ladies share in regard to their commitment to creative expression.  Judy Bunner will have several pieces of her beautiful jewelry and Loretta Wray will showcase her pottery.  Each artist is unique in her creative approach to her chosen medium as you will see in the pieces they have selected for this exhibit.

Please make plans to meet these two very talented and creative ladies during the First Thursday opening from 5-8pm April 3rd.  Light refreshments will be served and the reception is free and open to the public. It will remain on display through April 26th.

Contemporary Perspectives in Photography

Join Cornerstone Center for Arts for First Thursday on Thursday, April 3, 2014, from 6:00 to 9:00pm for an opening reception and art show featuring two Ball State University seniors Lorin Ashley Bowen and Alea Bowling. Their combined show will featuring works of photography focused in areas of their interest – love and life.

Lorin Ashley Bowen was born in Jefferson City, Missouri.  She is currently living in Anderson, Indiana with her husband. Before moving to Indiana, she received her Associate of Arts at Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri. Now, she is attending Ball State University and will be graduating spring 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts, Emphasis in Photography.

As an artist, Bowen is drawn to things that are familiar, and relevant to everyday life. The series being portrayed is titled, A Quick Fix: A photographer's experience in a fast food society. She uses photography to record her ideas and experiences with domesticity. Bowen enjoys being able to create imagery that documents and comments on every day household situations.

Alea Bowling is a senior at Ball State University. She will be graduating in May with a Bachelor of Arts, Emphasis in Photography. Her first major series is a work in progress titled Love in the Making. This project is the culmination of her studies at Ball State, the final requirement for her degree and honors college designation.          

Prior to beginning her senior thesis, Alea has also done commission work for several clients, including the Ball State Choral Department, St. Francis Catholic Church in Muncie, Indiana and Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Indianapolis as well as individuals.

The Art Gallery is located on the 2nd floor of the building. It will continue to exhibit and promote the artwork of Cornerstone students and instructors, local high school and college students, as well as local and regional artists.

Paperchaser 2014

Gallery 308 opens its PAPERCHASER 2014 exhibition with a free reception from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 3.  The 5th annual show is a juried art show featuring the artworks of contemporary artists working in paper-based media.

Paperchaser 2014 will be juried by Art Hazelwood.  Hazelwood calls himself an artist, impresario and instigator.  His artwork ranges from screen-print posters to fine press artist books and public art projects. His prints are in several collections including the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Library of Congress. He currently teaches printmaking at the San Francisco Art Institute.

Dave Franklin, Gallery 308 Board President, said, “More than $1,200 in cash awards will be announced at the Gallery opening on April 3 including the Best of Show winner. The awards ceremony will be held at 6pm.  The Best of Show winner also receives a solo exhibition in 2015.”

Gallery visitors will have the chance to see than 50 works-on-paper ranging from watercolor, to oils, to mixed media to photography.   The exhibit will be on display through April 24.  The gallery’s hours are Fridays 3-7pm and Saturdays from 12:30 – 5:00pm.  Admission is free. 

The exhibit is made possible by funding from Art Mart, Lyle Mannweiler Photography, Jack’s Camera, Gory Fine Art and Framing, and Indiana Public Radio.

Case Studies

Braydee Euliss has worked on every side of the world of art: student artist, artist, museum preparatory intern, gallery manager, patron, picture framer. A Muncie native, Euliss earned a BFA in Sculpture from Ball State University with a semester at Westminster College in London, England. She has also earned the title of “master framer,” according to her employer, Brian Gordy. Not only does she design and complete framing packages, but Euliss works on gilding projects, bringing old and antique frames back to their former golden glory. And, for the month of April, the talented artist will also be exhibiting in the Gordy gallery.

Case Studies is an exploratory and provocative exhibit that investigates institutional methods of 3-dimensional display. The pedestal, the vitrine, and various incarnations of both have been designed to unobtrusively showcase other objects. Case Studies asks the viewer to acknowledge the contextual framework of display and reconsider its furniture as a medium that filters our perception of what is contained within.

Conceptual and provocative, the exhibit re-focuses the viewer’s mind to the boxes, structures – furniture – that typically serve as silent support for art and objects. A question is being asked, “How does the framework of display filter our perception of what is contained within?”

Euliss has participated in numerous solo and group exhibits, including Select Fair in Miami, FL, Contexture at the Marshall J. Gardner Center for the Arts in Miller, IN, 23rd Minnetrista Annual, 73rd , 74th & 75th Annual Student Art Shows (BSU), Reclaiming Show, Atrium Gallery (BSU), and the Whitewater Valley Annual at IU East, Richmond, IN and several group shows, including Monkey Thunder, RE Monkey Thunder, Bodega at the Murphy Arts Building, Indianapolis, IN, and Resurfaced at Savage’s Ale House, Muncie.  The artist was selected for the Art Faculty Award for Outstanding Senior Art Student at BSU in 2010. Other awards include the Muncie Art Students League Annual BSU Student Art Award in 2009 and the Lucia Mysch Scholarship Award in 2009.

The opening reception for “Case Studies” will be held Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 5 to 8 PM at the downtown gallery. Light refreshments will be served and the artist will be introduced at 6:15 PM for a short talk, and to answer questions about her work. Muncie Makes will feature napkin sketches created by students and community members alike after being given the prompt “What does Muncie mean to you?”. These sketches will be complemented by other various artwork and projects from students from Ball State’s College of Architecture and Planning. Students in an interdisciplinary studio have been working all semester to reopen the building into a gallery/workshop space. The April 3rd First Thursday will mark the official reopening of the building.

Rose Court is pleased to be exhibiting the photography of Woody Noblitt.  Woody is a retired American Baptist minister who lives in Muncie.    He has always been interested in photography, but now that he has retired, he has ratcheted up his interest to beyond family pictures.  Woody has enjoyed traveling in search of photo opportunities, going as far as Moab, Utah, and is looking forward to doing more traveling in the future.

"Throughout the years, I've had the opportunity to do a few drawings and paintings for my own amusement, however, much of these works have been sold or given to family members or close friends.  These days, I do tend to hoard what few pieces I do."

Also at Valhalla, Loren Foley will have a selection of his taxidermy projects in an exhibition titled "Transmutation". Foley describes the collection as "An exploration of Taxidermy and the Reclamation of the Discarded."

May at the Artist Within will feature the annual exhibit of work done by the Advanced Art Students from Muncie Southside and Muncie Central High Schools. Drawings, paintings, jewelry, ceramics, sculpture and more will remain on display from May 1 through May 31; several pieces are for sale.

An opening reception to meet the artists will be held during First Thursday May 1 from 5-8pm.  Light refreshments will be served and live music will be provided by Bryce Taylor.

Following the success of their past collaborative themed shows, Aaron Brunsman and Jarrod Case will be heading up a group show at Fickle Peach for May's First Thursday. The concept is simple. Participating artists must follow a common theme for their works to be displayed, and the theme is the only thing that is in common in the works. The artists can choose which media they prefer along with his or her approach to the common theme. The theme for this show is "Nudes". The opening will start at 5pm with refreshments and an artists meet and greet.

Circles and Birds

An exhibit featuring artist Sally Myers opens First Thursday at Gallery 308 on May 1.  Circles and Birds is a collection of metal scultpures created from steel rings Myers found at a scrap yard in Muncie. The opening reception for the new exhibit will be held from 5 to 8 p.m.

Myers said, "I love everything about these rings - the uneven shape, the empty space inside, the opportunity to add objects at the top, bottom and sides, the material - steel - to which I can weld other steel shapes. I also like the fact that they can be displayed outdoors and develop a beautiful rust patina."

She added, "I make this work by working at a coal forge, heating the steel rods to yellow heat, then forming the pieces with a hand hammer or power hammer.  I cut the steel birds from steel sheets using a plasma torch.   There is quite a lot of magic in working with hot steel.  After you heat and bend the steel, even after it is cold, you can appreciate that it was once fluid and able to bend which I think of as 'remembering when it was hot'."

Myers retired from teaching art at Ball State University a few years ago and currently lives on a farm in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia with a dog, cat, and a few guinea fowl. Her work has been shown in exhibitions all over the United States including the 27th International Exhibition on Animals in Art, Earth, Wheel and Fire, the International Juried Ceramics Exhibition, and the International Juried Exhibition at The Herbst International Exhibition Hall at the Presidio of San Francisco, California.

Myers is also back in Muncie to celebrate the dedication April 30th of the three panel steel sculpture titled ” Growing through the Changes”, she created located on the  grounds  of City Hall. The sculpture was commissioned and funded by Gallery 308, its members and from major funding from the Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County and donated to the City of Muncie and its residents.

The exhibit will be on display through May 30.  The gallery’s hours are Fridays 3-7pm and Saturdays from 12:30 – 5:00pm.  Admission is free.

Acrylic Energy Paintings

Muncie landscape architect Eric Ernstberger spends a lot of time with his head in the clouds. His work requires a “view from the top” of cityscapes, which he then helps design for ease of travel and beauty. It is not surprising to find that his day work influences his art, which he creates mostly at night. As the rest of his family sleeps, the artist applies copious amounts of acrylic paint to thick watercolor paper in swirls, streaks and cross hatches that become sunset deserts, African landscapes or lavender-lit interiors. One painting, titled, “Afar,” could be a modern take on the famous Monet water lily series. The artist delivers just enough; it is then up to the viewer to decipher the rest.

Art is a form of communication, after all, and tells a story that can only be told in that medium, at that time, by that artist. Ernstberger is deeply connected to the surface of our planet and sees it with eyes educated to know how humans interact with the hills, mountains, plains and waters of our world, for better or worse. His, “American Maelstrom,” delivers an ominous message via active strokes of red, white and blue with occasional merges into that welcomed benevolent lavender.  The artist points out that his work offers “intense abstraction or new perspectives on familiar subjects.”

Ernstberger will speak about his latest work, and answer questions during his opening reception on Thursday, May 1, 2014. The short talk will begin at 6:15 PM in the main gallery, and the public is invited.

Please join Dr. Amanda Latz, Assistant Professor of Adult, Higher, and Community Education, and the graduate students in the EDCC 641 course “Community Colleges and Diversity” at their Photovoice event. The Photovoice event is a participatory photo exhibition to be held on May 1, 2014 from 5 to 7 pm at Ivy Tech Community College’s Patterson Building, third floor ballroom. The Photovoice exhibition is the culmination of a research project carried out by six graduate students in the EDCC 641 course who worked with administrators and students at Ivy Tech Community College involved in LIFE STEPS, a federally-funded TRIO and student support services program that provides students with tutoring, counseling, and instructional services for student success. Through a process of providing six Ivy Tech students with disposable cameras, talking with the students about their photos, and analyzing the conversations to gain understanding about students’ experiences, the EDCC 641 class—in collaboration with Ivy Tech—has organized the Photovoice exhibition as a way to showcase the participatory action research. The exhibition will display the students’ photos, include refreshments, and serve as an interactive space for dialogue and reflection. All Muncie, Ivy Tech Community College, and Ball State University community members are welcome to attend and engage the students at this event. Artist Cassy Hoffine explains that "'Perilous' is a reminder of simpler times. When we were children, our imaginations roamed free. Now, adulthood overshadows the days of imaginative playing. Something that was once innocent and fun is too unpredictable: a child could get hurt if they are not protected from every risk. I photographed children in out-of-the ordinary situations, and the artwork is intended for an adult audience. Since every adult has some memory of being a child, the work juxtaposes their perspectives with the children’s."

Cultural Narratives Through Photography

The Rose Court's guest artists for May will be the students of the "Design with Photography" class in the Landscape Architecture Department at Ball State University.

"Cultural Narratives Through Photography" is an exhibition celebrating the pervading spirit of place. Thirteen individual photographers present their work in series, exploring topics ranging from landscape, place, iconoclastic symbols, and the passage of time. The exhibition highlights the stories held within each subject, capturing these accounts through various photographic techniques. The photographic series will be on display in the central atrium of The Rose Court Building and will guide visitors through a journey exploring varying place and photographic media. Specific series address the “Unaltered Landscape,” “Building Blocks of America,” “Commuter’s Drive,” “Power of Sunlight,” and “Layers of the Trail.” The photographers present work in color, black and white, and photographic oil detailing. Materiality, depth of field, juxtaposition, lighting, and motion are just a few of the controlled variables explored. Please join the exhibitors as they celebrate investigation and artistry. Valhalla will be featuring an art event 'Drinks and Draw' an interactive installation where patrons are invited to create their own work and hang it on the display wall.

YART is held in the Old National Financial lot on the corner of Walnut and Charles Streets in Downtown Muncie, Indiana. This community art sale,  with a goal of making art affordable and accessible to everyone, brings together artists and art patrons in a casual and unique setting.

- All players are encouraged to gain a competitive advantage by requesting topics
- Every tenth question is part of our inadvertent quest to discriminate against the deaf, and has players listening to a song and attempting to identify its title, band, and album.
- The sixth round is a special visual aid round in which the blind are instead at an unfair disadvantage.
- Booster Charades: The team in last place can optionally play a round of charades on stage for a bonus point while we point and laugh at them
- Punitive Karaoke: A team deemed worthy of punishment is called upon to read a sheet of lyrics with neither musical accompaniment nor a clue what the song is. All teams can get up to two points if they can correctly guess the band or the title of the song.
