To mark the opening of our newest exhibition, Bird Photographer of the Year, join us on a guided birdwatching tour around campus. During this specific walk, participants will explore the Nature Area, learning about and hopefully catching sight of the diverse bird species that inhabit and hunt in the prairies and woodlands of East Central Indiana!

Learn Bob’s signature “wet-on-wet” technique from experienced Certified Ross Instructors and paint in the building where The Joy of Painting was filmed! Just bring yourself, and we will provide everything you need to have a wonderful time. Just like Bob said, “Let’s get crazy!” 

Bob Ross Painting Workshops are 14 & up unless otherwise noted. All supplies are included. Everyone in attendance must be registered for the workshop, and The Bob Ross Experience ticket is not included. This workshop space is only accessible via a staircase. Celebrate the beauty of birds at Betty’s Cabin by crafting your own pinecone bird feeder. Look through our field guides to learn more about the birds you can see in your backyard and then use our binoculars to spot feathered friends. Following your avian exploration, join us on a family-friendly bird walk through Oakhurst Gardens at 11 a.m. or 1 p.m., where you can discover even more feathered delights!
