Nick is a single, Italian-American guy from New Jersey who sees his grandparents every Sunday for dinner. That is until he’s been offered a dream job in Seattle. This news doesn’t sit so well with his grandparents, and thus begins a series of schemes to keep Nick around. Frank, Aida, Nunzio and Emma pull out all of the stops, and that includes bringing to dinner the lovely—and single—Caitlin O’Hare.

On Christmas Eve, however, Scrooge is in store for a rude awakening when he is visited by the ghost of his old business partner, Jacob Marley, who informs him that he is going to be visited by three ghosts, including the Ghosts of Christmas Past and Present.
