  • An Unearthly Senior 7pm to 12:42pm @ David Letterman Communication and Media Building, Ball State University Room 125

    Presenter: Austin Lugar
Throughout the years one cult show has continued to grow on a large international level. For many, Doctor Who was just the weird show that played on PBS late at night with the people in funny accents and ridiculously long scarfs. After its reboot in 2005, it's one of the biggest shows in England and a favorite for many Americans as well. Austin Lugar will take a look at the full history of the show that has stretched for almost 50 years. The talk will serve as a celebration for the fans who have loved it for years but also as a humorous (and accessible) guide for those who have never heard of Time Lords or the TARDIS. After the speech, there will be a panel discussion with Professor Sonny Wingler and undergraduates Ian Shepherd and Leigh Montano as they look at how there are so many different ways to enjoy the show.

    • How deep research and strategic thinking transform good design into unforgettable brand experiences
    • The secrets to building comprehensive and strategic brand systems that work across every touchpoint
